This document confirms that participants understand the nature of activities delivered by Bear Grylls Survival Academy (BGSA) and acknowledge the risks involved in taking part.
BGSA delivers outdoor and indoor team building, survival and adventure-based activities. Activities may include but are not limited to navigation exercises, survival challenges, fire lighting, rope activities, projectile activities (such as archery or axe throwing), water-based activities, vehicle-based challenges and other team building exercises.
The participant understands that adventure and outdoor activities carry inherent risks. These risks may include slips, trips, falls, environmental hazards, physical exertion, equipment failure, weather exposure and other unforeseen circumstances.
The participant voluntarily accepts and assumes the risks associated with participation in BGSA activities.
The participant confirms that they are physically able to participate in the activities. The participant agrees to inform BGSA of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies or other health concerns that may affect their participation.
BGSA reserves the right to refuse participation if a medical condition or other issue is considered to pose a risk to the participant or others.
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions given by BGSA instructors and to behave responsibly during activities. Participants must inform instructors if they feel unwell, unsafe or unable to continue an activity.
Some activities may involve food or 'Gross Eats'. While BGSA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate allergies, participants acknowledge that food may contain ingredients that could trigger allergic reactions.
Nothing in this document excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Participants acknowledge the risks involved in the activities and agree to take part voluntarily.
BGSA may take photographs or video recordings during events. These may be used for educational or promotional purposes.
