If you are wanting to become an instructor with the Bear Grylls Survival Academy, please contact the office after you have completed the 2 day Survival Skills Training to express your interest in taking the steps to becoming an instructor with us.
The path to becoming an instructor is simple; we will invite you to shadow on one of our Survival Adventures or corporate Team Building events to get a feel for how these events are delivered from pre-event set up to post event wrap up. Once completed your ‘shadowing’ you will be required to take a formal Assessment based on your learnings of the 2 day Survival Skills Training and shadowing experience.
The Assessment consists of a 30 minute multiple choice exam, a 15 minute Classroom based lesson, and a 15 minute Practical Skills lesson.
The Bear Grylls Survival Academy is all about inclusion, respect, learning from each other, encouragement and building each other up, and most of all, having fun!
