We have ensured that all necessary safety requirements are in place and are ready to start running certain experiences/events as permitted by UK government guidelines. As such, we have made changes to the delivery of our experiences/events in order to prioritize the safety of all participants. Some of those changes include:
Additionally, all of our instructors have been trained on COVID-19 safety protocols and will utilize face masks, gloves, aprons and eye protection as necessary when delivering our experiences/events. Lastly, for certain experiences, you may be welcome to bring your own equipment or tools from home (i.e. sleeping bags, water bottles, PPE, etc.). Individual and Family Experiences. If you are booked on one of our individual and/or family experiences, please assume that we it will be delivered at the scheduled date and time unless you hear otherwise from us in writing. We will strive to give you as much advanced notice as possible should we need to change the date of delivery or cancel your experience altogether due to COVID-19 UK government guidance. We will contact you at the e-mail address provided at the time of booking and give you alternative dates for rescheduling at no additional cost to you. We will also be happy to issue a voucher if you are unsure about your availability around new dates provided or if you simply need additional time to decide. Of course, refunds are available if there are no suitable alternatives.
Corporate, Team Building and Group Events. For all new bookings made from 1st September 2020, you will have the option to re-book free of charge or receive a full refund (minus costs incurred by us, a summary of which can be provided to you upon request) should your scheduled event date need to be changed or cancelled due to COVID-19 UK government guidance. Please note that all other normal T&C’s outside of this COVID-19 exception will still apply.
All participants will be required to adhere to BGSA health and safety protocols around COVID-19 which will be explained by our instructors at the start of each experience/event. Additionally, clients will be asked to sign a ‘COVID-19 Acknowledgment of Risk’ form and agree to have temperature checks as prerequisites to participating in any experience/event activities.
Your safety is our top priority and, as such, we will only run experiences/events if we can gain approved location access under local regulations and ensure the health and safety of all participants including BGSA staff. Our goal is to provide you with an unforgettable experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety during this global pandemic.
