HALF DAY EVENTS

“Taking part in an outdoor expedition frees the mind and liberates the spirit. It also reminds us of what we’re truly capable of achieving” – Bear Grylls

Forget any team building and bonding experiences you’ve had in the past – The Bear Grylls Survival Academy half day challenge is a dynamic four hour event lead by Bears team of highly experienced instructors.  We believe that true adventure in real life scenarios can bring out the best in your team and Bears team have a huge amount of expertise gained from experience within the military, on real expeditions around the globe and working with Bear in some of the most extreme environments on earth. Our team will test you and challenge you but also assist your team to gel together and work more efficiently as a team as you embark on a series, of survival activities in the great outdoors!

The event can take place almost anywhere from a hotel lawn to a woodland or more adventurers area. If the location is more challenging, then we can always add some additional Bear Grylls extreme activities although the vast range of stances we can bring anywhere. The half day event focuses on a range of survival challenges inspired by Bear and, some of the other greatest explorers of all time and enhanced by a mix of classic Bear Grylls activities. Some activities are physical challenges whilst others are more motor skill based with the level of intensity set around the diversity of the group. Sledge Pull, Giant Knott Challenge, Raft Build, Sniper Riffle Shoot, survival challenge and Axe Throw are just some of the activities on the menu. And, speaking of menu’s don’t forget the famous Bear Grylls Gross Eat challenge. What will you eat in order to survive……

Our office team will assist you to choose from a selection of challenging survival stances and either keep your team together as a unit or break them down in to sub teams and work through a round robin style course lead by Bears team of instructors who will facilitate and lead the event. In most cases the lead instructor will be a member of Bears TV Safety team who have worked with him worldwide, will be an adventurer in their own right and will have a story or two to tell themselves. At the end of the event, the teams will all come together for the final BG challenge.

Finally, why not add a wilderness lunch to you package around a camp fire or an extreme activity if the terrain allows.
